Edition 2025 — Sant'Andrea Festival
Sant'Andrea Festival 2025
The Sant'Andrea Festival 2025 in Pescara was held from Saturday, July 26 to Monday, July 28, preceded by the religious program that began on July 18 with prayer vigils, rosaries, and Eucharistic celebrations in the parish of Sant'Andrea.
The central moment took place on Sunday, July 27: after the brass band performance in Piazza Sant'Andrea and the solemn mass, the sea procession was held with the statue of the saint and the blessing of the waters. That year, the Pescara maritime community chose to participate in a reduced form, with only a few boats, as a sign of peaceful protest to raise awareness about the critical issues of the sector, from the dredging of the port canal to the fishing crisis.
The civil program offered opening fireworks, a midday pyrotechnic battery, evening tribute band concerts, and a Monday show with a lottery drawing and final light fountains, in addition to market stalls and seafood stands along the promenade of the Municipality of Pescara.
