Edition 2025 — Recreational and Cultural Summer

The 48th Recreational and Cultural Summer animated Sant'Andrea di Conza from July 31 to August 22, 2025, featuring theater in the former Bishop's Palace gardens, music, and literary meetings. Among the most applauded moments were the «Medea» performed by Laura Morante on August 11 and the stop of the Atelier Tour by maestro Remo Anzovino at Largo Ginnasiale, before the 13th Book Festival on August 21-22, with free admission.

The 2025 edition

The 48th edition confirmed the formula that made the Alta Irpinia festival famous: evening performances in the open-air theater of the former Bishop's Palace gardens, concerts in the squares, and a finale entirely dedicated to books. On August 11, Laura Morante brought «Medea» to the stage, while maestro Remo Anzovino chose Largo Ginnasiale for a special stop of his Atelier Tour.

The 13th Book Festival

On August 21 and 22, the historic center transformed into a «living library» for the thirteenth Book Festival, with about twenty authors, presentations, literary salons, a comic book area, a book market, musicians in the alleys, and stands of local products. Guests included Sigfrido Ranucci, Francesco Piccolo, Totò Cascio, and Luca Steinmann; the Thursday opening was dedicated to children with the show «Favolosamente bulli». Admission to all events was free. The edition was part of the project «Itinerari Irpini tra Cultura, Storia, Teatro e tradizioni» funded by FSC 2021/2027 funds and involved the Municipality of Sant'Andrea di Conza together with local associations.
