Edition 2025 — Sant'Anatolia Festival

In July 2025, Castel di Tora renewed its devotion to its patron saint with the traditional Sant'Anatolia Festival, celebrated on the weekend of the second Sunday of the month. As is customary, the village overlooking Lake Turano experienced days of faith and conviviality, featuring the solemn procession of the saint's effigy to the sanctuary across the lake, the Asta ritual, and the night-time fireworks display.

The 2025 edition of the Sant'Anatolia Festival was held in Castel di Tora, in the Province of Rieti, during the weekend of the second Sunday of July, following the tradition that has marked the summer of the Sabina village for generations. The celebrations combined the religious dimension, with the novena, the solemn mass, and the procession of the patron saint's effigy towards the sanctuary located across Lake Turano, with the festive one, featuring gastronomic evenings, brass bands, and the traditional fireworks display over the lake. To conclude the rites, the saint's small statue was entrusted to a new guardian family through the characteristic Asta ritual.
