Edition 2025 — Sant'Agnello Feast

The 2025 edition of the Sant'Agnello Patronal Feast took place in Guarcino on Sunday, August 31, the last Sunday of the month. The village in the province of Frosinone renewed the ritual of the procession with the patron saint's statue and the silver busts of the patron saints, amidst solemn Mass, a brass band, and festivities in the historic center. As every year, the feast also drew many emigrated Guarcino natives back to the village.

The 2025 edition

On Sunday, August 31, 2025, Guarcino celebrated its patron saint Saint Agnello the Abbot with the main feast of the year. As tradition dictates, the saint's statue was carried in procession through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the silver busts of the town's patron saints and the Confraternity of Sant'Agnello, recognizable by their white sackcloth with turquoise collar and belt.

The celebrations, also announced by the Diocese of Anagni-Alatri, alternated liturgical moments—the solemn Mass in the Collegiate Church—with civil events in the square, featuring the brass band, illuminations, and stalls with typical Ciociaria products. The previous week, the town had celebrated the co-patron San Rocco, according to the custom that concentrates the heart of the Guarcino summer at the end of August.
