SanMarkè Fest 2025: the first edition

From July 16 to 20, 2025, the Villa Comunale of San Marco in Lamis hosted the first edition of SanMarkè Fest - The Roots Festival, promoted by the Circolo ACLI San Giuseppe APS. Five free-admission evenings combined cultural meetings, book presentations, folk music, and shows, drawing an audience of over a thousand people per night.

The opening night on July 16 featured folk groups I Garganesi from San Giovanni Rotondo and Lu Cuncertine from San Nicandro Garganico. Subsequent days included the presentation of Roberto Emanuelli's novel, a concert by Gianmaria Carroccia dedicated to Battisti and Mogol, and the presence of actor and director Sergio Rubini. The final evening on July 20 brought together journalists such as Francesco Giorgino, Giuseppe Brindisi, and Attilio Romita, with the presentation of the Roots Awards, a concert by Eddy Napoli and the Luna Rossa Orchestra, and a midnight fireworks display.

2025 Program

• July 16 - Opening (8:30 PM): folk concert by I Garganesi (San Giovanni Rotondo) and Lu Cuncertine (San Nicandro Garganico).
• July 17 - Presentation of the novel "Tutta questa felicità" by Roberto Emanuelli, dialogue with Carla Bonfitto; followed by a folk concert.
• July 18 - Concert by Gianmaria Carroccia dedicated to Lucio Battisti and Mogol.
• July 19 - Guest: Sergio Rubini, actor and director; meeting on current affairs and presentation of the Roots Award.
• July 20 - Closing night with journalists Francesco Giorgino, Giuseppe Brindisi, and Attilio Romita; Roots Awards; concert by Eddy Napoli and the Luna Rossa Orchestra; midnight fireworks display.
