Edition 2025 — Sanfront Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Sanfront Carnival took place on Tuesday, March 4, on Shrove Tuesday, in Piazza Statuto in Sanfront. The festival, organized by the Pro Loco, animated the early afternoon with entertainment for children and Occitan dances, followed by the distribution of polenta at 4:00 PM and concluded with the burning of the Ciciu at dusk.

The 2025 edition

The 2025 Sanfront Carnival renewed the Shrove Tuesday appointment in Piazza Statuto, in Sanfront, in the Po Valley. The day began in the very early afternoon with entertainment for children and traditional Occitan dances, accompanied by the group Sensa Nom.

At 4:00 PM, the polentari group distributed the traditional polenta, a convivial moment appreciated every year by participants. At dusk, the festival concluded, as per tradition, with the burning of the Ciciu, the effigy dedicated to an event that sparked local debate. A carnival that was "as always pleasant and enjoyable," organized by the Sanfront Pro Loco with the usual commitment of the volunteers.
