Edition 2025 — Sanciprianese Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Sanciprianese Carnival took place from February 23 to March 4 along the streets of the entire municipal district of San Cipriano Picentino. The allegorical floats, built by local groups, brought themes such as Super Mario Kart, The Flintstones, Scooby-Doo, Sonic, and superheroes to the streets. The most anticipated moment was Sunday, March 2, following the parade through the hamlets of Filetta and Pezzano, with a long evening party animated by music, dance schools, and shows.

Ten days of parades through the hamlets

The 2025 Sanciprianese Carnival began on Sunday, February 23, and concluded on Tuesday, March 4, Shrove Tuesday, covering the entire district of San Cipriano Picentino, in the province of Salerno, with its parades.

The allegorical floats created by local groups featured themes taken from pop imagination: Super Mario Kart — the float of the UNIVES group —, The Flintstones, Scooby-Doo, Sonic vs. Mufasa, and superheroes.

The March 2 party in Pezzano

The most attended day was Sunday, March 2: after the usual parade through the streets of the hamlets of Filetta and Pezzano, from 5:00 PM, the parking lot of the Zoccola stadium in Pezzano hosted a long party with music, performances by dance schools, fire-eaters, a color festival, a photo area, refreshment points, and an evening DJ set.

In 2025 as well, the UNIVES group, active for years with charitable and social initiatives, played a central role in the organization, confirming the solidary and community character of the Sanciprianese Carnival.
