San Vittore del Lazio Christmas Tree Lighting and Christmas Markets

The 2025 edition marked the grand return of the most impressive version of the tree: the San Vittore Tree-Builders redesigned a silhouette of over 600 meters on the face of Monte Sammucro, extending over approximately 122,000 square meters of rocks and cliffs. The lighting, which took place on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the presence of civil, military, and religious authorities, was accompanied by a day of celebration: from 10:00 AM, Christmas markets in Piazza Municipio with gastronomy, crafts, painting, sculpture, and nativity scenes, followed by children's entertainment with Santa Claus, a photographic exhibition on the history of the tree, the Christmas Orchestra concert, and a video projection dedicated to the volunteers' work set to the notes of «You Raise Me Up». The tree, organized by the Associazione Alberisti Sanvittoresi APS with the patronage of the Municipality of San Vittore del Lazio, remained lit every evening until January 6, 2026, visible from the entire Valle dei Santi and the Autostrada del Sole.
