San Vito Festival 2025
On Sunday, June 15, 2025, the San Vito district in Pantelleria celebrated its patronal feast. The day began in the late afternoon with the recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 PM and Holy Mass at 6:30 PM in the church of San Vito. Starting at 7:30 PM, the festivities continued with a convivial gathering featuring tastings, live music by Maestro Lo Pinto and his band, and the traditional dance so beloved by the locals.
The event was organized by the Circolo Unione Agricoltori San Vito (led by president Giuseppe Belvisi and Carmine Acierro) and the Associazione Barbacane, with the patronage of the Municipality of Pantelleria. A celebration described as "simple but very deeply felt and lived," which opened the island's summer season by uniting faith, tradition, and community.
