Edition 2025 — San Vito Festival

The 2025 edition of the San Vito Festival took place in October in the San Vito district, in the upper part of Ercolano. As per tradition, the community honored the patron saint with the procession, the flight of the angels, and secular festivities. The evenings featured performances and folk music concerts, with artistic direction entrusted to local professionals and the participation of artists from the Neapolitan scene.

The 2025 San Vito Festival renewed one of the most deeply rooted religious traditions of the Vesuvius area in Ercolano, in the Metropolitan City of Naples. In the San Vito district, around the historic small church, the festivities combined the devotional dimension with the popular one.

The heart of the festival was the procession of the statue of the martyr saint through the streets of the district and the traditional flight of the angels, accompanied by the brass band. The evenings offered performances and live music, with artists of Neapolitan folk music and entertainment curated by local artistic directors. The festivities concluded with the usual fireworks.

The organization was handled by the committee led by Enrico D'Agostino, in collaboration with the parish and under the patronage of the Municipality of Ercolano.

Programme

The evenings of the 2025 festival featured artists selected by Music Live of Maria Speranza, with the artistic direction of Clemente Menzione and the participation, among others, of the singer Emiliana Cantone; the radio host Antonio Manganiello was also present. There was no shortage of the procession with the flight of the angels and the traditional fireworks.
