Edition 2025 — San Valerio Alvito
The 2025 edition of the San Valerio Festival celebrated the patron saint of Alvito from June 10 to 14, with the main civil festivities concentrated on the Friday and Saturday after Pentecost. Sacred rites, the traditional Key Procession, the procession with the band, food stalls, tournaments, and fireworks united the Ciociaria community in the name of its protector saint.
San Valerio Festival 2025
In Alvito, in the Comino Valley, the festivities for San Valerio Martire took place from June 10 to 14, 2025, with the main events on Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th.
- Friday, June 13 — 6:45 PM Key Procession; 7:30 PM concelebrated Mass; 8:30 PM opening of food stalls; 9:30 PM folk music concert.
- Saturday, June 14 — 3:00 PM card tournament; 7:00 PM solemn procession with the statue of San Valerio accompanied by the band; 9:30 PM concert-show; 11:30 PM lottery draw and fireworks.
In 2025 as well, the festival, organized by the Municipality of Alvito with the Festival Committee and the Parish of San Simeone Profeta, renewed the centuries-old bond between the village and its patron saint.
