Edition 2025 — San Severino Feast
The 2025 edition of the San Severino Patronal Feast enlivened Comiziano, in the province of Naples, from August 28 to September 8. For the occasion, the urn containing the relics of Bishop Saint Severinus was transferred to the town church, the heart of the celebrations. The novena and triduum, starting August 28, accompanied the faithful until the solemn mass officiated by the Bishop Emeritus of Nola, Beniamino Depalma, and the procession of the saint's image and relic through the streets of Comiziano. As is customary, the religious dimension was accompanied by civil festivities, with musical evenings, food stands, and shows in the square. The presence of a delegation from San Severino Marche was significant, sealing the bond of friendship that unites the two communities in the name of their common patron.
Programme
From August 28 to September 7: novena and preparatory triduum. Solemn mass officiated by the Bishop Emeritus of Nola, Beniamino Depalma, followed by the procession with the urn and relic of Saint Severinus through the streets of the town, with the participation of a delegation from San Severino Marche. Following this, civil festivities with concerts and shows in the square.
