San Sebastiano Festival

The 2025 edition of the San Sebastiano Festival in Floridia followed the traditional calendar. On January 20th, the main celebration took place: after the preparation triduum and the solemn holy mass, the statue of the Glorious 'Bimartire' went out in procession from the Church of Sant'Antonio di Padova, traveling through the streets of Floridia's center accompanied by the 'nudi', congregations, and the faithful, returning in the evening amidst fireworks.

On May 3rd, 2025, the spring unveiling was held in the evening, as is customary. In 2025, the organization was again handled by the Confraternita Gesù e Maria, guardian of the devotional tradition of the town in the province of Syracuse, Sicily.
