The 2025 San Sabino Patronal Feast

The 2025 Patronal Feast of Canosa di Puglia celebrated the Patron Saints Saint Sabinus, Saint Alphonsus, and Maria Santissima della Fonte with the usual blend of religious rites and popular celebration. The most anticipated event was the free concert by Andrea Sannino, a Neapolitan singer-songwriter known for the song "Abbracciame", which enlivened Piazza Vittorio Veneto on the evening of Saturday, August 2, 2025, starting at 9:00 PM, drawing a large audience.

To allow for the festivities, the Local Police Headquarters ordered the closure to traffic of numerous streets in the center from July 31st to August 2nd. The event was organized by the Municipal Administration together with the Patronal Feast Committee, with the support of entrepreneur Francesco Palermo, who has been among the event's supporters for the third consecutive year. There was no shortage of processions, illuminations, bands, and traditional moments of devotion in the Cathedral Basilica of San Sabino.
