Edition 2025 — San Rufo Feast
The 2025 San Rufo Patronal Feast brought Castel di Sangro to life on August 27th and 28th, confirming its status as one of the most popular summer events in the Alto Sangro. The traditional religious celebrations in honor of the patron saint were accompanied by a major musical event that draws a vast audience every year.
The star of the evening was Sal Da Vinci, who performed his well-known repertoire for about two hours in the Prato Cardillo area, in front of thousands of spectators who had traveled from the nearby regions of Molise and Campania. Admission to the concert was free. The festivities dedicated to San Rufo concluded, as is tradition, with a spectacular fireworks display, in an evening described by the local press as one of the most beautiful in the annals of the patronal feast.
