Edition 2025 — San Rocco Sambuceto

In 2025, the San Rocco Patronal Feast in Sambuceto was held over a long season of festivities, from August 7 to 25, in honor of Saint Roch alongside Our Lady of Hope, Saint Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows, and Saint Anthony of Padua. Moments of prayer, novenas, and solemn celebrations were intertwined with a rich schedule of shows in Piazza San Rocco, culminating in the procession, the distribution of blessed bread, and the traditional final fireworks display.

The 2025 edition

The San Rocco Patronal Feast in Sambuceto (San Giovanni Teatino) took place in 2025 from August 7 to 25, with a program that combined devotion and entertainment. The secular calendar featured the Italian Orchestra with Renzo Arbore and Alfio Lombardi, the Chic Live Band with dance, funk, and soul music, Luisa Corna, Elena Cammarone, and various musical shows on the evenings of August 16, 22, 23, 24, and 25.

The highlight was the procession on August 24, accompanied by the Banda Città di Furci, with the traditional distribution of blessed bread. The festival concluded on August 25 with the Ballo della Pupa and the fireworks display, bidding farewell to the patron of Sambuceto.

August 16: theatrical-musical show with Paolo Notari and Valeria Visconti, Italian Orchestra with Renzo Arbore. August 22: dance night with the Italian Orchestra. August 23: Chic Live Band (dance, funk, soul). August 24: procession with the Banda Città di Furci, distribution of blessed bread, concert by Luisa Corna. August 25: Elena Cammarone, Ballo della Pupa, and final fireworks.
