Edition 2025 — San Rocco Feast
The 2025 San Rocco Feast in Molinara
In 2025, the festivities in honor of the patron saint in Molinara (Benevento, Campania) started on Wednesday, August 13th with a show by comedian and cabaret artist Simone Schettino at the Pasquale Santoro Municipal Theater. The following day, the play L'Arciprete di Molinara was performed, an autobiographical text by Giandomenico Viglione, followed by the Latinapoletano Concert in Piazza San Rocco and a dance evening in the historic center.
On the night of August 15th, the Matinata was renewed, departing from Piazza Vittoria with Valentino and Gilda to invite the town to the morning Mass. On August 16th, at 11 AM, the Holy Mass and the procession with the parade of grain-decorated tractors took place; in the evening, the concert by the Banda Città di Lanciano, concluded by the hymn to San Rocco before the statue. August 17th was the turn of the Banda Città di Molinara at the Santoro Theater and the A tutta '90 evening in the square.
The grand finale, Monday, August 18th, was the concert by Fabrizio Moro: a square full in every corner, a repertoire spanning twenty-five years of the Roman singer-songwriter's career, then the fireworks and the San Rocco Party. The program was completed by the exhibition Photography and Narration at Palazzo Ionni and the Museum of Farming and Crafts.
