Edition 2025 — San Rocco Giurdignano
San Rocco Feast 2025
The 2025 edition of the San Rocco Patronal Feast was held in Giurdignano (LE) on August 16, 17, and 18. The village in lower Salento was illuminated with traditional luminarie created by local artisans, while the program combined moments of devotion with civic events.
On August 16, the Saint's day, the solemn procession with the statue of San Rocco, the brass band concert, and the fireworks display took place. The following days continued the popular festivities with live music, a performance by a national singer, and stalls along the streets of the center. A mandatory stop was the Votive Column of San Rocco from 1772, located in Piazza Municipio, the devotional heart of the Giurdignano community.
