San Rocco 2025 in Civitaluparella

The 2025 San Rocco Patronal Feast animated the village of Civitaluparella, in the province of Chieti, on August 16th and 17th. As per tradition, religious moments—the patron saint's procession and the blessing of the bread—intertwined with festive events in Piazza Guglielmo Marconi.

Among the scheduled events, the "Live Music Sax and Violin" evening on August 17th brought the refined sounds of the saxophone and violin to the square. A few days earlier, on August 13th, the "Borgo del Gusto" event had already ignited the village summer with the flavors of Abruzzo's peasant cuisine, confirming the link between the patronal feast and the gastronomic traditions of the Monti Lupari hinterland.
