The 2025 San Rocco Luminata

The 2025 edition of the San Rocco festival in Capodimonte, in the province of Viterbo, was marked by bad weather: a severe thunderstorm that hit the village on Lake Bolsena forced the municipal administration and the parish to postpone the entire program from Friday the 15th to Saturday the 16th of August.

Rescheduled for the following day, the festivities opened at 7:00 PM with the traditional tombola on the lakeside promenade, in the Rotonda area. At 9:30 PM, the procession in honor of San Rocco took place, starting from Piazza della Rocca and arriving at the saint's church overlooking the lake. The evening concluded at 11:00 PM with the grand fireworks display over the waters of Lake Bolsena, which reflected on the water, providing the most anticipated image of the Capodimonte summer.
