Edition 2025 — San Rocco Living Nativity

During the 2025-2026 Christmas season, the faithful of the San Rocco parish in Gela once again presented their living nativity, set up near the church on Via Bramante. Along the path, costumed actors reenacted the Nativity and traditional ancient crafts, accompanied by the essential Christmas market. Visits took place in the evening, in an event full of charm and folklore that enlivened the neighborhood during the holidays.

The 2025-2026 Christmas edition of the San Rocco Living Nativity in Gela (CL) confirmed the traditional formula that has characterized the initiative for years. Organized by the faithful of the San Rocco parish, the living nativity offered a journey through the scenes of the Nativity, with the Holy Family, shepherds, and characters from the Gospel story portrayed by members of the community.

Alongside the religious reenactment, the path highlighted the ancient crafts of the area, reconstructed with workshops and scenes of daily life. A Christmas market completed the setup, offering visitors handcrafted products and Christmas-themed items. The openings took place in the evening in the San Rocco parish district, confirming the event as one of the most heartfelt highlights of Christmas in Gela.
