The 2025 edition

The San Rocco Festival 2025 confirmed the most heartfelt event of the Milici district, in the Municipality of Rodì Milici (ME). As per tradition, the liturgical celebration of August 16th and the festivities of the following Sunday brought the community and many emigrants who returned for the summer back to the square.

The highlight was the "miraculi": in the early afternoon, the saint's statue left the church of Santa Maria and, amidst music and drums, was carried at a run around Piazza Santa Maria, stopping abruptly so that mothers could lift their children onto the float, invoking the protection of San Rocco. The day concluded with the solemn procession of the statue through the streets of the town and the celebration of Holy Mass, confirming the identity value of this ancient Sicilian popular tradition.
