Edition 2025 — San Pietro Vintage Car Rally

The bond between Borgosesia, the San Pietro feast, and vintage engines is rooted in previous editions of the Amici della Trabant Rally, which brought the iconic cars of the former East Germany to Valsesia. From this enthusiasm, the first San Pietro Vintage Car Rally was born in 2026, combining Italian and European vintage cars with a passion for Trabants in a day of exhibitions and scenic tours.

Before the debut of the San Pietro Vintage Car Rally in 2026, Borgosesia (Vercelli province) had already hosted editions of the Amici della Trabant Rally, dedicated to the small cars built in the former East Germany that have become cult objects for Italian and European collectors.

These events, part of the rich summer calendar of motoring rallies in Valsesia, laid the foundations for the 2026 event, which expands the formula by opening it to all historic cars registered up to 1996 and combining the exhibition with a scenic tour towards Varallo Sesia.
