Edition 2025 — San Pietro Festival

In 2025, Praso once again celebrated its patron saint with the traditional San Pietro Festival, held on the weekend around June 29th. The festival, organized by the Pro Loco Praso, featured the usual blend of religious celebrations, typical Giudicarie cuisine, and dance nights, confirming the vitality of a mountain community deeply connected to its roots in the Chiese Valley.

San Pietro Festival 2025

In 2025, the community of Praso, a village in the municipality of Valdaone in the Chiese Valley, renewed the patronal feast of Saint Peter the Apostle on the weekend around June 29th. The Pro Loco Praso managed the organization, featuring Holy Mass, a procession accompanied by the band, and traditional dishes served in Piazza San Pietro.

The star of the show, as per tradition, was the potato polenta by the polentèr of Praso, a prized Giudicarie specialty, along with dance nights and entertainment for all ages. A well-attended edition that confirmed the festival as one of the most cherished events in the summer calendar of Valdaone, in the heart of Trentino.
