Edition 2025 — San Nicola di Corno Mountain Festival

The 2025 edition of the San Nicola di Corno Mountain Festival took place in July in Isola del Gran Sasso d'Italia, upholding the tradition of the climb to the Camaldolese hermitage at the foot of Corno Grande. Hikers and devotees reached the site on foot along the historic Casale San Nicola mule track, in a free event within the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park.

In 2025, the Mountain Festival once again drew walkers and pilgrims to the Hermitage of San Nicola di Corno, at an altitude of about 1,096 meters in the municipality of Isola del Gran Sasso d'Italia, in the province of Teramo. The day retraced the spirit of the event: the hike along the mule track starting from Casale San Nicola, the encounter with the ancient Romanesque temple immersed in the nature of the Gran Sasso, and a moment of reflection at the hermitage dedicated to Saint Nicholas. The event, free and open to all, once again combined hiking, spirituality, and the promotion of Abruzzese mountain heritage.
