San Michele Fair 2025 — "Traces and Intertwining"

The 2025 edition, held on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September in Fucine di Ossana, focused on the theme "Traces and Intertwining", a journey through memory and creativity dedicated to the working of metals, ceramics, and textiles. The village was divided into several locations: the theatre for cultural meetings, the playground and library for children and families, and the bocce court as the hub for exhibitions, stalls, and artisan demonstrations.

Highlights included kamishibai readings illustrated by Val di Sole school students, a meeting with the author regarding the children's book "La cucina del Balduk. Il Saggio del bosco" by Gianfranco Berti, and, on Saturday evening in the theatre, the screening of "Old Time Films" featuring Claudio Redolfi's shorts on the valley's customs and traditions. The Museum of Customs and Traditions of the Trentino People offered the "Artisans of Yesteryear" workshop, creating small decorated items on copper plates.

Saturday 27 September: opening of the fair, historical exhibitions and installations; 8:30 PM in the theatre "Old Time Films - Stories by Claudio Redolfi", screening of short films on the valley's traditions. Sunday 28 September: from 9:00 AM market and exhibition of Solandro crafts at the bocce court; live demonstrations of metal, ceramic, and textile work; open and free workshops; kamishibai readings (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM) and meeting with author Gianfranco Berti (2:00 PM - 3:00 PM) at the playground; "Artisans of Yesteryear" workshop by the Museum of Customs and Traditions of the Trentino People.
