San Martino Festival (Waiting for San Martino)

The 2025 San Martino Festival brought Casalvecchio Siculo (ME) to life in November for the saint's feast day. Organized by the Pro Loco with the support of the municipal administration, the event was held in the village's historic center starting in the evening.

The stars of the evening were the autumn flavors: fragrant chestnuts, new wine, traditional cuzzole, and sausage sandwiches, accompanied by other typical products from the Nebrodi region. The festival was accompanied by live music and performances by folk groups, which kept the public dancing through the illuminated alleys of the town. During the event, the village churches also remained open to admire their artistic and religious heritage.

The evening opened in the square with the opening of food stands dedicated to chestnuts, new wine, cuzzole, and sausage sandwiches. The festival continued with live music and folk group performances along the streets of the historic center until late in the evening.
