Edition 2025 — San Martino Chestnut Festival

The 2025 edition of the San Martino Chestnut Festival in Fano Adriano took place on Saturday, November 15th, starting in the evening (8:15 PM). In the village's historic center, amidst the stone walls of the Valle Siciliana, roasted and boiled chestnuts, new wine, and mountain specialties were shared in a convivial atmosphere warmed by the bonfire and folk music. An authentic evening that celebrated the tradition of Saint Martin at the foot of the Gran Sasso.

The San Martino Chestnut Festival 2025 in Fano Adriano was held on Saturday, November 15th, starting in the evening around 8:15 PM. In the heart of the small Gran Sasso village, in the province of Teramo, the community gathered for the customary autumn festival dedicated to Saint Martin.

The stars of the evening were chestnuts, roasted and boiled, accompanied by new wine and traditional Abruzzo rural soups. The large bonfire lit in the square and live folk music provided the backdrop for a simple and participatory festival, which marks the changing of the seasons in the Valle Siciliana every year.
