San Marco Fair

The 177th edition

The 2025 San Marco Fair confirmed Caprarica di Lecce as a reference point for Salento folk traditions. On April 25th, the village came alive from early morning with stalls and crafts along the entire fair route, while devotion to Saint Mark was renewed in the Church of the Madonna del Carmine.

In Villa Comunale Francesco Greco, equestrian shows, live music with SalenTrio, and country dancing took place, while Piazza Vittoria hosted attractions and workshops for children. At Piazza Garibaldi, the Convivia Social Restaurant organized a community lunch featuring typical Salento flavors.

The day of April 26th featured a concert by Enza Pagliara and Dario Muci in the Church of the Crucifix and, in the courtyard of the Baronial Palace, the musical tribute "Compagni di Scuola" dedicated to Antonello Venditti.
