The Patron Saint's Festival in the Land of Wine
Pramaggiore, in the province of Venice, is one of the most important wine-producing centers in the Eastern Veneto, the heart of the Lison-Pramaggiore appellation. Every spring, around the feast of the patron saint San Marco, the town experiences its Celebrations: one of the longest-running and most attended events in the area, capable of attracting visitors from all over the region for over two weeks.
Food, Music, and Tradition at PalaCubo
The heart of the festival is the PalaCubo, on Viale Europa, which opens every evening from 7 PM with food and wine stalls: gnocchi, grilled meats, fried dishes, and excellent local wines. The evening continues with dance orchestras and events for younger audiences. Surrounding the evening program are a funfair, youth football tournaments, a vintage and modern tractor rally, and a motorcycle rally, in a schedule that blends tradition and fun for all ages.
The National Wine Competition
The San Marco Celebrations serve as the backdrop for the National Competition of DOCG, DOC, and IGT Wines, one of the leading wine events, with dozens of editions held. It is this dedication to wine that makes Pramaggiore an unmissable stop for enthusiasts: a village festival that merges with a national-level wine showcase, in the heart of the Venetian countryside.
San Marco Celebrations — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the San Marco Celebrations enlivens Pramaggiore from April 17 to May 3, with the headquarters at the PalaCubo on Viale Europa. Over two weeks of food and wine stalls, music, a funfair, and rallies, in the spirit of tradition and the wines of the Eastern Veneto, with the 65th National Competition of DOCG, DOC, and IGT Wines.

- From 7:00 PM — Opening of the food and wine stall: gnocchi, grilled meats, fried dishes, and local DOC wines
- Following — Evenings with dance orchestras and ballroom music

How to get there
Pramaggiore can be reached by car from the Portogruaro exit of the A4 motorway. The PalaCubo is located on Viale Europa, near Piazza del Donatore. Ample parking is available.
