San Lorenzo Patronal Feast

The 2025 edition of the San Lorenzo Patronal Feast took place in Rapino, in the province of Chieti, on August 9th and 10th. The community gathered around its patron saint with religious celebrations — the solemn holy mass and the procession of the statue of San Lorenzo through the streets of the village — and with traditional civic festivities: dancing in the square, music, convivial moments with the flavors of Abruzzese cuisine, and the customary fireworks display. The festival, one of the most heartfelt in the municipality's summer calendar, confirmed the strong bond between the ceramics village and its religious and popular roots.
