Edition 2025 — San Gregorio Magno
The 2025 San Gregorio Magno Patronal Feast opened on August 26 with Holy Mass and the solemn enthronement of the patron saint's statue, accompanied by the firing of dark shots and the "Franco Erario" band, marking the start of the seven-day preparation.
The core of the festivities was concentrated in the first days of September: on September 2, the Pontifical Mass presided over by the Bishop of Oria featured the presentation of the "San Gregorio Magno 2025" Award, followed in the evening by a grand concert by the "Franco Erario" and "Vincenzo Tripaldi" bands and concerts in Piazza Garibaldi. On September 3, the day of the solemnity, the traditional procession through the historic center took place, culminating in the evening with a grand concert and a fireworks display. On September 4, the Salento Flavors Festival concluded the festivities with tastings and music, in a historic center illuminated by spectacular light displays.
