San Gregorio Festival

The 2025 San Gregorio Festival was held on September 3rd in Casacanditella, in the province of Chieti, in honor of the patron saint, Gregory the Great. The day began at 10:30 AM with a solemn mass at the Church of San Gregorio, followed at noon by a procession with the saint's statue accompanied by a brass band. In the early afternoon, a community lunch offered traditional Abruzzese dishes, from arrosticini to pasta alla chitarra. The afternoon featured entertainment and games for children, while the evening saw the square host a musical show and entertainment, with the grand finale provided by fireworks. A free festival that confirmed the community's strong bond with its patron saint.
