San Giuseppe Sfincia Festival

The 19th edition of the San Giuseppe Sfincia Festival was held on Sunday, March 16, 2025, starting at 5:30 PM, along Corso Umberto I in Bagheria. The event, organized by the Confraternita Patriarca "San Giuseppe" together with the Centro Studi Aurora and with the patronage of the Municipality, featured the sfincia, the iconic pastry of the Bagheria tradition.

Numerous local establishments provided sfince for the tastings, including Anni 20, Antica Pasticceria Don Gino, Bacio Bar, Antica Gelateria Eucaliptus, Bar Carmelo, Bar Ester, Bar London, Mareschi Lounge Bar, Bar Ivano Molinaro, Bar Sicilia, and Bar Valentina. The public was able to sample the pastry via a tasting ticket costing two euros, while musical entertainment was provided by the group "I Tarantula" from Montelepre. The Centro Studi Aurora also offered a live cooking demonstration showing the preparation of the sfincia.
