San Giuseppe della Campagna Festival

The 2025 edition of the San Giuseppe della Campagna Festival confirmed the strong roots of this tradition in the community of Milena, in the province of Caltanissetta. As per tradition, the day opened early in the morning with the firing of firecrackers, followed by Holy Mass and the procession of the statue of Saint Joseph through the streets of the Villaggio Vittorio Veneto.

There was no shortage of popular peasant games, with the inevitable 'ntinna, the greasy pole that attracts both young and old, musical entertainment, and the community spaghetti feast that brought together residents and visitors before the evening fireworks.
