Edition 2025 — San Giuseppe Cavalcade Donnalucata
2025 Edition — The 40th Cavalcade
The 40th San Giuseppe Cavalcade of Donnalucata took place from March 14 to 16, 2025, in the municipality of Scicli (RG). On Friday, March 14, the youth floral tribute departed from the church of San Giorgio at 4:00 PM. On Saturday, March 15, with a gathering at 4:00 PM on Via Roba delle Navi, magnificent horses harnessed with flower trappings paraded, accompanied by folk groups and devotees in traditional costumes. On Sunday, March 16, at 9:00 AM, the parade of Sicilian carts and floral-adorned horses preceded the 11:00 AM solemn mass at the church of Santa Caterina da Siena.
The special guest of the edition was Ofelia Passaponti, Miss Italy 2024. The first prize of the cavalcade was awarded to the Balicum Group of Giorgio Cascone, recognized for the beauty of their floral trappings.
