Edition 2025 — San Giuseppe Bonfire

The first edition of the San Giuseppe Bonfire in Conca della Campania inaugurated the return of the traditional propitiatory fire in the Alto Casertano village in March 2025. Organized by the Pro Loco Conca Insieme Aps, the evening revived the ritual of lighting the bonfire with folk music, dance, and local food stalls.

San Giuseppe Bonfire 2025 — the first edition

In March 2025, Conca della Campania, in the province of Caserta, relaunched the traditional San Giuseppe Bonfire, bringing the ancient propitiatory fire ritual back to the center of the village. The initiative, curated by the Pro Loco Conca Insieme Aps, united the community around the large brazier of chestnut logs and brushwood.

The evening alternated folk music and dance, with the tammurriata as the protagonist of the Campania tradition, and food stalls featuring local specialties. The success of the first edition laid the foundation for the event to be repeated in the following years.
