Edition 2025 — San Giuseppe al Trionfale Festival
The first district festival of Trionfale
The 2025 edition, scheduled from March 15th to 23rd, marked a turning point: the district's centuries-old devotion to San Giuseppe officially entered the list of district festivals supported by the City of Rome, alongside Santa Maria Liberatrice, the Festa de Noantri, and the Ottobrata Monticiana. The district mobilized committees, the parish, and local merchants to build a widespread program.
How it went
The heart of the event remained the procession of March 19th through the streets of Trionfale, preceded by the blessing of the San Giuseppe bread. Around it, popular festivities: bonfires with the blessing of the fire, a charity raffle supporting the Oratory, market stalls, food stands with Roman cuisine, and, of course, the fritters and cream puffs that earn the saint his nickname of 'frittellaro' in Rome. The festivities concluded with a fireworks display.
