San Giovanni in Festa 2025

From July 17 to 27, 2025, Piazza San Rocco in Sambuceto, a district of San Giovanni Teatino (Chieti), hosted eleven nights of San Giovanni in Festa, the popular festival organized by the Pro Loco "Primavera '94" with municipal support. Every evening from 9:00 PM, concerts, comedy shows, dance orchestras, and moments dedicated to local heritage took place.

Among the highlights of the edition: maestro Piero Mazzocchetti with soprano Laura Surricchio at the opening, Bobby Solo, Sonohra, comedian Uccio De Santis, Olimpia Madonia, and, for the finale, I Cugini di Campagna with a grand fireworks display. There was no shortage of the famous arrosticini nights at 0.60 euros each (July 19 and 25), evening bingo, a children's play area, and watermelon distribution. Free admission for all evenings.

• July 17 — Opening with maestro Piero Mazzocchetti and soprano Laura Surricchio; cover band "Euforia – Annalisa Tribute".
• July 18 — Tribute band "Le Orme dei Pooh".
• July 19 — "Rino Live" (tribute to Rino Gaetano); first arrosticini night at €0.60.
• July 20 — Scena Muta with "The best Italian music ever".
• July 21 — Concert by Bobby Solo (opening act Francy & DiMa).
• July 22 — Concert by Sonohra; longest arrosticini challenge with influencer "Sono un fregno abruzzese".
• July 23 — "Le Panocchie dell'Adriatico" (folk-rock).
• July 24 — Pino Blonna (The Voice Senior) and comedy show by Uccio De Santis.
• July 25 — Orchestra "Liscio Simpatia" with guest Olimpia Madonia; second arrosticini night at €0.60.
• July 26 — "Forever '90" with 90s hits; watermelon distribution.
• July 27 — Coro Colline Verdi Teatine and closing concert by I Cugini di Campagna, followed by final fireworks.
