San Giorgio Festival

The 2025 edition of the San Giorgio Festival in Castello Tesino was held on April 26 and 27. On Saturday, the festivities began at 9:00 AM with an inflatable slide in the San Rocco area, and at 3:00 PM with a snack for children at the retirement home, where at 4:00 PM the catechism students performed "The Legend of Saint George". From 5:00 PM, in the Via Dante Gardens, visitors enjoyed specialties from the Alpini and Schützen, as well as the famous parampampoli from the Tesino Youth Group.

On Sunday, the festival continued with the Gran Fiera di Via Dante and food stalls; at 10:30 AM, the High Mass and procession with local associations took place, preceded by the distribution of heart-shaped cookies by the Avis foundation for Telethon. From 11:45 AM, the band and folk group performed across Piazza San Giorgio, Piazza Trento, and Piazza Marconi. In the afternoon, the Schützen served strauben (2:00 PM), followed by 'little firefighter' games in Piazza Marconi (3:00 PM). The event concluded with a screening of the film "Belle and Sebastian: Friends for Life" at the Castello Tesino cinema theater.
