Edition 2025 — San Giorgio Fair of Caselette
The 2025 Edition
The 2025 San Giorgio Fair took place in Caselette on Saturday, April 12th, and Sunday, April 13th, confirming the success of this agricultural and livestock event in the lower Susa Valley. On Saturday evening, the Piazzale degli Alpini Sandro Dogliotti hosted the auction of high-genetic-value Italian Pezzata Rossa heifers, accompanied by music and tastings of local products.
Sunday was dedicated to the 8th Regional Exhibition of Italian Pezzata Rossa cattle: after the opening of the historic fair, the parade and morphological evaluation of the animals by the official judge determined the winners. The title of absolute champion went to the cow Pamela from Cascina Ravetto in Orbassano. In the afternoon, there were cheesemaking demonstrations and entertainment, while the agricultural machinery display, the local farmers' market, and tours of the Roman Villa continued throughout the day.
