Edition 2025 — San Giorgio Bonfire

In 2025, the community of Castel Viscardo and Viceno once again renewed the tradition of the San Giorgio Bonfire: the procession from Piazza Cimicchi accompanied by the band and the lighting of the great bonfire in Parco del Pinaro, in a ritual that unites faith, music, and popular conviviality.

The 2025 edition of the San Giorgio Bonfire confirmed, on the occasion of Saint George's feast day, one of the most evocative traditions of Castel Viscardo, in the province of Terni. The celebration united the communities of Castel Viscardo and Viceno in the procession from Piazza Cimicchi, accompanied by the 'G. Verdi' band, and in the lighting of the great bonfire in Parco del Pinaro.

The ritual, organized by the Partecipanza Agraria of Castel Viscardo-Viceno, the Pro Loco, and the Parish SS.ma Annunziata, renewed the community's bond with its religious and popular identity, amidst faith, music, and conviviality.
