San Gabriele Festival

In the summer of 2025, the Alanno Scalo district, in the province of Pescara, confirmed its role as one of the beating hearts of the Alanno summer season. The station village, enlivened by the Lu Capostazione Association, once again offered festive moments that intertwined the devotion to Saint Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows—the young Passionist saint and patron of Abruzzo—with neighborhood entertainment and conviviality.

Included in the long summer program of the Municipality of Alanno, featuring food festivals, concerts, and popular celebrations from June to September, the Station festival represented an opportunity for residents to meet and share their identity, in the typical spirit of the village festivals of inland Abruzzo.
