Edition 2025 — San Gabriele Festival

The 2025 edition of the San Gabriele Festival took place in Piano Favaro on July 26th and 27th, bringing together the communities of Fossacesia and Rocca San Giovanni. Two days marked by a solemn Holy Mass and a procession with the saint's statue, accompanied by music, performances, food stalls with traditional Abruzzo dishes, and the traditional closing fireworks display.

San Gabriele Festival 2025

On July 26th and 27th, 2025, Piano Favaro, a district between Fossacesia and Rocca San Giovanni (province of Chieti), celebrated its San Gabriele dell'Addolorata Festival. Popular devotion was expressed through the solemn Holy Mass in honor of the patron saint of Abruzzo and the procession with the statue of the Saint through the streets of the district.

Alongside the religious celebrations, the secular festival enlivened the evenings with live music, performances, food stalls featuring Abruzzo specialties, and the concluding fireworks display. The event, organized by a youth committee, confirmed the great popularity of previous years, with a large turnout from across the region.
