San Fratello Carnival

In 2025, the San Fratello Carnival held its prologue on February 22, culminating on March 1 and 4 with grand allegorical float parades starting at 5:00 PM from Piazza Portella.

As per tradition, the floats and costumed groups traversed the streets of San Fratello, in the Nebrodi Mountains in the province of Messina, while the Carneval Fest featured its customary creative and original mask competition for adults and children. The festival was organized by the Pro Loco San Fratello APS with the patronage of the Municipality and the support of local associations.
