Edition 2025 — San Franco Feast
2025 Edition
The 2025 San Franco Festival in Francavilla al Mare was held from August 16th to 18th, with three days of celebrations blending faith and folklore. On August 18th, the patron saint's day, the day opened with a solemn Holy Mass in the church of San Franco, followed by the traditional procession through the historic center.
On the musical front, Piazza Benedetto Croce hosted a live performance by Exentia, while the DJ set by Andrea Germani and Nico D'Emilio took place in Piazza Stazione. The grand finale featured the Grandi Fuochi a mare, launched over the Adriatic and visible from the pier, Piazza Adriatico, and Via Tosti. There was no shortage of food stalls offering traditional Abruzzese dishes, from arrosticini to pallotte cace e ove.
