San Francesco Fest

The San Francesco Fest 2025 transformed the village of San Leo (RN) into a widespread festival on the weekend of May 3 and 4. Saturday, May 3 opened at Montemaggio with a wild calendula workshop, followed by a conference on the life of Saint Francis by Riccardo Starnotti at Palazzo Mediceo, the presentation of the Traveler's Notebook with artisan wine tasting in the Bottega, and in the evening, musical moments in the Cathedral with the Accademia Distretto della Musica and actress Roberta Arduini.

Sunday, May 4, the celebration continued with breakfast at the Bottega, Holy Mass presided over by Bishop Andrea Turazzi, the medieval pageant in Piazza Dante with the Gruppo Storico Sassocorvaro and the Compagnia Mons Jovis, the recitation of Canto XI of Dante's Paradiso in the Pieve, the educational falconry workshop, and finally, medieval dances with the Gaudio Malatesti company.
