San Donato Patronal Feast

The 2025 edition of the San Donato Patronal Feast took place in Roccamorice (Pescara) on Thursday, August 7, 2025, on the day dedicated to the town's patron saint. The community gathered around the figure of San Donato, bishop and martyr, with religious celebrations and the procession of the saint's statue through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the brass band. There was no shortage of secular festivities, with illuminations, market stalls, and food stands enlivening the Abruzzese village at the foot of the Majella, attracting residents and emigrants who returned to the town for the occasion.
