San Domenico Festival

The 2025 San Domenico Festival confirmed the vitality of one of the most beloved events in Pizzoferrato, in the province of Chieti. The heart of the celebration was the procession of the Reliquary Arm of the Patron Saint, carried through the streets of the mountain village with the participation of the faithful. The festival then moved to higher altitudes, to the evocative La Valle area, near the church of San Domenico in Silvis, where the community gathered for the traditional countryside meeting among the beech forests of the Majella. An appointment that every year unites the sacred and nature in the authentic Abruzzo mountains.
