San Domenico Festival - Panèmediterraneo

The 17th edition of the San Domenico Festival - Panèmediterraneo was held on August 3 and 4, 2025, in Uggiano Montefusco, a village of Manduria, with wheat as the central theme.

On Sunday, August 3, in Piazza Castello, the festival began at 8:00 PM with the bread-making ritual by Andrea Pizzaleo, followed by a guided tasting of Primitivo di Manduria with sommelier Leonardo Spina and an olive oil tasting. At 9:30 PM, the pizzica workshop with Floriana Guida preceded the folk music concert by Viaggio Popolare.

On Monday, August 4, the evening opened with the presentation of the book Dizionario delle parole perdute by Leonardo Di Maggio, followed by a sensory walk among aromatic herbs led by Ileana Tedesco and the concert of the musical project Namar. Along the alleys, stalls offered pettole, homemade pasta, meatballs, fava beans, and stuffed eggplants, alongside photography and art exhibitions, workshops, and the multimedia installation P.R.I.M.I.T.I.V.O.
